So! Recently, I have been looking into reducing my carbon footprint. So what better way than to cut out meat or animal products for a few days? I have tried an all Vegan diet in the past and it did affect my mental health as well as my physical health a bit so I am choosing a Vegan diet only a few days out of my week. This may change depending on my health, so we'll see! Perhaps I'll write another blog post on this later.

Long story short, thus bringing you Vegan Skull Waffles.

What makes this recipe Vegan is the replacement of the Egg and Milk. You can use any of your favorite pancake/waffle recipes and replace these two ingredients as below:

use 1/4 cup for every ONE egg needed. If a lighter texture is preferred a 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder can be added as well.

But obviously take into consideration any mix may already have dairy, so be sure to check the box first!

In this specific recipe I used Original Bisquick Pancake & Baking Mix.

What you'll need:

1 Cup of Bisquick Mix

1 Cup of Unsweetened Coconut or Almond Milk

1 TBSP of Avocado Oil (Or Vegetable Oil)

1/4 Cup of Apple Sauce

Go crazy with your recipes! Add some dark chocolate chips, some bananas, maybe even some vegan candy corn! And if you try it out, tag me in your recipes! I'd love to see them!
